Personal:

Married to Elizabeth (she got me running in 2003). We have three boys, Lucas (12) , Sam (8) and Ollie (5).

Many years ago, I read that the AVERAGE male is capable of a 2:40 marathon.  I decided to test that theory.  I began running in 2003 with Top of Utah as my first marathon (4:24).  I need 3 more minutes.

Easy run around the creek in PQ canyon.  I saw several deer at mile 2.  I was a little winded around mile 3 for some reason, so slowed down a little until the last mile.  I ran into some kids fishing at the creek.  They had caught 12 bass out of the little creek.  Someone must have stocked a small area of the creek.  It may be fun to try a small fly rod...if it is even legal to fish there.

Poor Mark Payne is on the Lone Faithfuls list. Needs a comment.

Jason was asking last weekend about who you're running with in San Diego, and I thought you were running with San Diego Fit, but I wasn't sure. So are you running with those guys or another group?

Ha! Thanks for the pity comment..and to think I was going to remove you from my "watch" list.

I've been running with San Diego Fit. They have group in Mission Bay and Carlsbad. Carlsbad has several sub 3 hours people, so they are good to run with. Its a little bit of an older crowd, so I may try West Coast Road Runners when the season wraps up in January.
