Personal:

Married to Elizabeth (she got me running in 2003). We have three boys, Lucas (12) , Sam (8) and Ollie (5).

Many years ago, I read that the AVERAGE male is capable of a 2:40 marathon.  I decided to test that theory.  I began running in 2003 with Top of Utah as my first marathon (4:24).  I need 3 more minutes.

Relay race in St. George.  I ran on a 2-man team with Craig Green.  There were only three 2-man teams, four solos and about forty 5-member teams.  Great weather and tough course (you run up Snow Canyon), but we were happy with finishing 3rd overall in the entire field.  This is much easier than the overnight relays.  We started at 8 AM and were driving home by 2 PM.

Lots of fun teams and typical well organized St. George event.  Several other Runagade members were racing and all did awesome.

Sugar House park loop.  Saw a guy in the park training a hawk or falcon.  He chased it from tree to tree while trying to coax it into landing on his glove.  The guy probably ran more miles than me today!
