Personal:

Married to Elizabeth (she got me running in 2003). We have three boys, Lucas (12) , Sam (8) and Ollie (5).

Many years ago, I read that the AVERAGE male is capable of a 2:40 marathon.  I decided to test that theory.  I began running in 2003 with Top of Utah as my first marathon (4:24).  I need 3 more minutes.

Skied all day yesterday at the Canyons.  The snow was perfect.  My legs were sore at this start of the run today, so only did 13.  Ran first half easy then second half at race pace (JRP--north).

Ran City Creek with Jason Rose on Sunday morning.  The weather was perfect and we planned to go further up the canyon, but the snow got too deep.

I ran to the track to do speed work, but there was a race meet going on, so I ran up to the U and back to the house.

My first run in a true sand storm.  Late day run in Palm Desert.  The outbound 3 was easy with the wind, but the return was brutal.
